| Obverse description | The note is printed in grey-green and gold tones, with the central vignette showing the Fuchsturm tower on a hilltop framed within a large stone archway. Two heraldic shields flank the arch at upper left and right, with denomination numerals "50" in circular gold cartouches at both upper corners. Stone tablet-style panels on each side of the arch carry explanatory texts in German script, and the lower panel bears the issuer name in ornate Gothic lettering. At bottom below the border, the printer's imprint reads "Druck von Johannes Arndt, Jena." |
