| Obverse description | Dark green and black Notgeld note with a central octagonal vignette portraying the Wasungen Amtsgericht (district court), a half-timbered building with red roof and an arched stone gateway, a small figure standing in the foreground. The denomination '50' appears in large green Gothic numerals at upper left and 'Pf.' at upper right, flanking the header inscription 'Brandnotgeld der Stadt Wasungen' in Gothic lettering. Validity text runs in two columns on either side of the vignette, the issuance date 'Wasungen, den 1. Okt. 1921' is placed at lower right, and a serial number appears at the bottom centre beneath two facsimile signatures. |
