| Reverse description | Red-bordered reverse with a central heraldic composition arranged in two rows of three shields: the top row displays the arms of Sömmerda (vertical stripes), the Mainz wheel (red wheel on white), and the Erfurt eagle (eagle on red and white stripes); the lower row bears further civic arms including a quartered shield and additional wheel devices, all set against a red guilloche underprint with foliate ornament. Corner medallions carry a rose vignette and a scene of figures at a table, with German blackletter text in the side panels and two banner inscriptions across the top and bottom borders. |
