Obverse description Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a beaded inner border framing a central raised numeral '50' in large serif figures within a circular depression. The circular legend 'KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE' runs around the upper periphery between the beaded border and the coin's edge, with three small six-pointed stars positioned at the lower margin flanking the base of the design. The flat fields between the beaded circle and the octagonal rim are plain, and the overall style is utilitarian, characteristic of German emergency coinage of the World War I era.
