| Obverse description | The left panel carries a vignette of the heraldic Berlin bear in dark brown ink, standing upright against a tan guilloche underprint patterned with small rosettes and repeated '50' numerals. The central field bears the denomination 'Funfzig Pfennige' in bold Gothic blackletter script, below which appear the issuing authority inscriptions and the date '9. Sept. 1921', with two facsimile signatures beneath. A decorative blue geometric lattice border frames the right panel, which contains a circular blank reserve, while the serial number appears in the lower left panel within a teal-ruled cartouche. |
