Obverse description A pearl border frames the outer rim of the coin. Within a raised inner circle, the municipal coat of arms of Deutsch-Eylau is depicted centrally: a crowned Madonna seated and holding the Christ Child, flanked on either side by a fortified tower, all rendered in relief. The encircling legend reads MAGISTRAT DER STADT ★ DEUTSCH-EYLAU ★ in Latin script, separated by five-pointed stars.

Reverse description A pearl border frames the outer rim. Within, a circular pearl rope border encloses the large numeral 50, denoting the denomination, prominently centered in the field.
