| Obverse description | The large bold Gothic title 'Gutschein' arches across the upper portion of the note, beneath which the text 'der Creditbank zu Hann. Münden' appears in smaller Fraktur script. At centre, the large numeral '50' in green dominates the field, flanked on either side by circular vignettes containing craftsmen's tools — a compass and set square to the left, a key and hammer arrangement to the right — each set within elaborate green acanthus scroll borders that extend into two heraldic shields in red and white at lower left and right, inscribed with the motto 'Arbeit ist des Bürgers Zierde / Segen ist der Mühe Preis'. Below the central numeral, the validity text, issuer name with legal form, manuscript signatures, and the date 'Hann. Münden 1. Juli 1921' are printed, with a closing rhyming couplet at the bottom margin; the printer's imprint 'Franz Scherrer Hannover' appears at lower right. |

| Reverse description | The central vignette presents a riverscape at the confluence of the Werra and Fulda rivers near Hann. Münden, framed by an ornate border of intertwining branches and scrollwork. To the left stands a stone tower with a waterwheel, and at centre a commemorative stone stele bears an inscription; a small boat navigates the calm river to the right, with a building visible on the far bank amid trees. The denomination '50' appears in green in boxed cartouches at upper left and upper right corners, with the title 'Fünfzig Pfennig' in large Gothic lettering across the top; below the vignette, a two-stanza verse poem in Fraktur script is printed across the full width of the note. |
