| Obverse description | The central vignette presents a full-length figure of a medieval knight in armor, cloaked and carrying a sword, with an eagle-emblazoned shield at his side, flanked by two subsidiary panels: the left showing a ruined archway with figures, and the right a landscape vignette with a hilltop fortress dated 1896–1390. A German-language inscription runs across the top border dated 15.3.1921, and the denomination numeral '50' appears in pink cartouches at the upper corners. The lower margin carries a further Old German text inscription and bears the printer's imprint 'ADO. F. FORKER, LEIPZIG'. |
