| Obverse description | Within a beaded border, the large bold numeral '50' dominates the central field, with the word 'PFENNIG' inscribed beneath in block capitals. The circular legend 'BAD BLANKENBURG THÜRINGER WALD' runs along the upper periphery, while the date '1921' appears at the base flanked by two small six-pointed stars.
