| Obverse description | Printed in dark blue on grey paper, the note is divided into a grid of rectangular panels enclosed within a ruled border. The title inscription appears in the uppermost panel spanning the full width. The central panel contains the municipal coat of arms of Gottesberg — a shield bearing a raised fist grasping two crossed miners' hammers — flanked on either side by large numeral '50' above the denomination in Gothic script. The lower register is subdivided into three cells, the outer two bearing the fractional value '½ Mark', while the central cell carries the authority legend 'Der Magistrat:' above two manuscript signatures. The printer's imprint appears below the outer border. |
