Reverse description	Brown and blue design identical in border treatment to the obverse, with the same repeated "50" medallion frame and guilloche wave underprint. At the top centre a circular vignette carries the Brunswick ducal arms with supporters, flanked by the inscriptions "Herzogtum" and "Braunschweig". The large Fraktur denomination "Fünfzig Pfennig" occupies the central field, below which the serial number appears on the line "Geldschein Nr.", followed by a line confirming acceptance at all ducal state treasuries.
