| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black on cream paper within a geometric Art Nouveau border with decorative corner devices and repeating linear motifs. The denomination numeral '50' appears in each of the four corners within octagonal frames, while the city arms of Canth — an elaborate heraldic coat of arms surmounted by a crested helm and supported by rampant figures — occupies a central circular vignette.
