Obverse description Colourful letterpress Notgeld note in the Expressionist style, signed in the upper left corner by the artist Egon Tschirch. A central vignette portrays a seated female figure in traditional coastal dress gazing out to sea, with two sailing vessels silhouetted against a radiant sunburst over calm water. The denomination '50' appears in bold red and black numerals to either side of the vignette, with the issuer name 'OSTSEEBAD NIENHAGEN' in a yellow banner above, and a Low German verse inscribed in Gothic script across the top panel.

Reverse description Colourful letterpress vignette in the Expressionist manner, presenting a coastal cliff scene with a lighthouse or observation tower at the headland, a beached rowing boat in the foreground, and a pier or jetty visible at right under a dramatic clouded sky. Above the central vignette the bold legend 'REUTER GELD' is printed in a decorative geometric banner with corner ornaments in the German Imperial colours; the denomination 'FÜNFZIG 50 PFENNIG' is set in large polychrome block letters overlapping the upper edge of the vignette. The issuer name 'OSTSEEBAD NIENHAGEN' appears in a yellow cartouche along the lower border.
