| Obverse description | Tan-toned notgeld note with a dense text underprint of repeated place-name legends filling the entire field. At left, a bold letterpress vignette of the rearing black Württemberg horse (Stuttgarter Rössle) within a ruled panel, below which the serial number appears in green. Centre and right carry the denomination '50 Fünfzig Pfennig' in large Gothic blackletter script, with the issuing authority designation 'Stadtkassenschein', validity date, place and issue date in progressively smaller blackletter text, followed by a facsimile signature of the Oberbürgermeister. A circular official seal of the Stadtgemeinde Stuttgart bearing the rearing horse appears at upper right. |
