| Obverse description | Black-ground note with red and yellow decorative border composed of interlocking geometric patterns. The issuer's name "Notgeld · Amt · Neustadt in Meckl." is rendered in large Gothic script across the upper half, flanked by denomination panels reading "50" at left and "PF." at right in blue cartouches. A central oval vignette, framed in gold scrollwork, contains an allegorical composition of crossed flags and a palm frond, encircled by the nationalist legend "NOCH·NIE·WARD·DEUTSCHLAND·ÜBERWUNDEN·WENN·ES·EINIG·WAR"; to either side, red panels carry the slogan "Gebt uns unsere Kolonien wieder!"
