The central vignette, printed in black over a green underprint of large outline numerals '50', presents a silhouetted rural scene with a windmill and church spire flanked on either side by standing male silhouette figures. A continuous four-part verse inscription in Gothic script encircles the central vignette within the ornamental border, and the denomination '50 Pf.' appears in each corner; the printer's imprint 'BLOSSFELD 1921' is at the base. |
