Obverse description The obverse is printed in red, black, and olive-green on cream paper, with a bold header inscription 'KREUZBURG IN OBERSCHLESIEN' across the top within a decorative border. A central oval vignette, surrounded by elaborate baroque acanthus scrollwork in gold and black, contains the town's heraldic castle motif — a red-brick fortification with three towers surmounted by a cross. Flanking text panels carry the validity clause split across left and right, while the denomination '50 PF' appears in large Gothic numerals at lower left and right; the issuance date 'Kreuzburg O/S, den 18. Oktober 1921' and the magistrate's facsimile signatures are printed at the foot.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in orange, olive-green, and black, with a panoramic vignette of the Kreuzburg townscape — church spires, towers, and rooftops set against a radiant sky — occupying the central field. Flanking the vignette stand full-length figures of a civilian militiaman at left and a uniformed soldier at right, referencing the 1921 Upper Silesian uprising. An upper text band carries a patriotic German verse, while a lower panel bears a commemorative inscription describing the repulsion of the Polish uprising from 5 May to 5 July 1921 by the Bürgerwehr and Selbstschutz; the denomination '50' appears at lower left and right.
