Obverse description Green and ochre lithograph note with a central vignette of a Gothic brick church (the Marienkirche of Neubrandenburg) set amid trees, framed by a decorative border with perforated edge ornamentation. A large scroll cartouche at the top bears the town name in blackletter script, with the denomination numeral '50' in bold at lower left and right. The issue date 'Neubrandenburg den 2. Juli 1921', two facsimile signatures, a serial number panel, and the redemption inscription 'Einlösung durch die Stadtkasse' with the validity date 'bis zum 30. Juni 1922' appear in the lower register.

Reverse description Multicolour lithograph in terracotta, green, and ochre tones, centred on a tall vignette of a medieval red-brick Gothic town gate (the Stargarder Tor) framed within an arched cartouche. The denomination numeral '50' appears in large grey figures at lower left and right, flanked by two identical heraldic shields depicting a stylised church in red and white. A bold terracotta panel at the foot of the note carries the town name 'Neubrandenburg' in blackletter script.
