Reverse description The reverse is framed by a broad arch motif flanked by stylised botanical sprays, with denomination numerals '50' in red at each upper corner. A large central colour vignette presents a panoramic view of the Jeßnitz church as it appeared in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, showing its tall twin-spired tower and red-tiled nave roof amid trees and rooftops, rendered in a detailed lithographic style with a cloud-filled sky. A title panel above the arch reads 'Kirche zu Jeßnitz i. XVI. u. XVII. Jahrhundert.' and a lower text panel carries a two-line verse in Gothic blackletter script, with roman numeral series markers 'I' at each side.
