| Obverse description | Printed in dark navy blue and ochre-gold on cream paper, the obverse centres on a diamond-shaped frame bordered by a dark band carrying the issuer legend in Gothic letterpress, enclosing a fine guilloche underprint in teal over which the validity text is set in black Kurrent script. The surrounding ochre field is covered with a dotted lattice underprint, with the denomination "50 Pf." rendered in large white numerals at each corner.
