Obverse description Central allegorical vignette by A. Jung shows a draped female figure holding a floral garland above a putto pouring water from a vessel, set against a wooded mountain landscape with a pavilion at right. Denomination numeral "50" appears in ornate cartouches at upper left and lower right within a beaded border. A poetic quatrain by Karl v. Holtei, dated "3.9.1869", occupies a shield-shaped panel at left.

Reverse description Central oval vignette presents a panoramic townscape view of Bad Reinerz with a church steeple, captioned "BLICK auf STADT u. BAD REINERZ", surrounded by a wreath of yellow roses with ribbon bows at either side. Issuing authority "DER MAGISTRAT" is inscribed across the top with place and date "Reinerz d. 1.6.1921" and two manuscript signatures below. Validity clause and denomination numerals "50" in beaded corner cartouches complete the design.
