| Obverse description | The obverse is divided into three vertical panels printed in red and black. The central panel bears the issuer inscription 'Stadt Ottmachau' and the denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' in Gothic blackletter script, followed by a validity clause in German and the date 'Ottmachau i.Schles., 2. Jan. 1921', below which appear two manuscript signatures under the legend 'Der Magistrat'. The left lateral panel carries a woodcut-style vignette of a medieval armoured knight standing before a fortified tower gateway, with the denomination '50 Pf.' in the lower margin; the right panel mirrors this layout with a vignette of a bishop in full vestments holding a crozier and book, also above '50 Pf.' |
