| Obverse description | The obverse is set within an ornate red and dark border with scrollwork vignettes on either side. A central oval portrait medallion at the top bears a bust of Kurfürst Friedrich I von Brandenburg in period dress, surrounded by a red oval frame. The denomination '50 PFG' appears in yellow shield cartouches at upper left and right, while the value 'Fünfzig Pfennig' is rendered in large Gothic script across the centre, with the issuer name 'Friesack' in a dark cartouche below. A validity clause in small Gothic text occupies the lower left, with the date 'im November 1921' and the manuscript authorization 'Der Magistrat' with two signatures at the lower right. |
