| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark brown on a cream-coloured paper ground with a tan underprint vignette of two stylised birds at the lower centre. The design is framed by elaborate symmetrical Gothic ornamental borders incorporating cross motifs, heart shapes, and foliate elements; the monogram initials 'GN' and 'WS' appear within cartouches on each lateral border. A central rectangular panel carries the validity text and the date 'Wenningstedt, den 15. August 1921', signed by the Gemeindevorstand. The denomination '50' and the title 'Aushilfsschein' are set in bold Blackletter script at the top, with the issuer inscription 'Gemeinde Norddörfer a. Sylt' in large Blackletter characters at the lower portion, above a red serial number prefixed 'No'. |
