| Obverse description | Brown-toned Notgeld note with an overall fine-mesh underprint forming the background. The issuer's name appears in Gothic Fraktur script at the top, flanked on each side by small ornamental vignettes of a town gate with towers set within decorative scrollwork cartouches. A bold circular medallion at centre carries the numeral '50' against a plain reserve. The date '1. April 1921' appears to the left of the medallion, with the authorization line 'der Gemeinderat' and a facsimile signature to the right. The denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' in large Gothic lettering runs across the lower portion, with the numeral 50 repeated at each lower corner. |
