| Obverse description | The central vignette presents the heraldic shield of Wesel — a red field charged with four white weasels (three in the chief, one in base) and an inescutcheon bearing a white scrollwork device — framed by elaborate laurel and oak wreath decoration in olive and gold tones. The denomination "50" appears in large bold script to the left and right of the arms, each followed by "Pfg." in matching Kurrent script. A three-line redemption clause in German script runs across the lower portion, with the serial number at lower left, issue date "Ausgegeben 1921" at centre, and the Bürgermeister's manuscript signature at lower right beneath the legend "Der Bürgermeister:". |
