Obverse description The obverse is printed in olive-green and ochre tones on cream paper, with the issuer's name in Gothic blackletter script along the upper border. The central vignette presents the Saxon coat of arms — horizontal green and white stripes with a diagonal crested band — framed within an ornate baroque cartouche of acanthus scrollwork. Denomination numerals '50' appear in dotted oval frames at left and right, with the serial number, place name 'Auerbach i.V.', and date '1. Juli 1921' in the lower text panel, above the Gothic inscription 'Gutschein über Fünfzig Pfennig' and the validity clause; the designer's name 'Heinz Schiessl' is rendered in small text flanking the cartouche base.

Reverse description The reverse mirrors the obverse design in olive-green and ochre on cream paper, with the same Gothic blackletter issuer legend across the top border and the Saxon coat-of-arms cartouche in the centre, here without a serial number. Denomination numerals '50' occupy dotted oval frames at both sides, flanked by stylised architectural pillar vignettes in the lateral margins. The lower text panel repeats the Gutschein inscription, date, and validity clause, with the printer's imprint along the bottom edge.
