| Reverse description | A central arched vignette rendered in colour illustrates a robed bishop or saint seated on a throne, holding a crozier, with a kneeling penitent figure before him and crosses visible in the background, evoking a medieval ecclesiastical scene from the Mönchhof legend. Flanking the vignette are symmetrical decorative scroll ornaments on a yellow ground, with the poetic inscription divided across the upper field. A bold red panel at the foot of the note carries the denomination in white Gothic script, and the series designation 'Mönchhof serie 1-6' and number 'No. 2' appear in the lower corners. |
