| Obverse description | Central vignette presents three women in traditional Rehburg folk costumes (Rehburger Trachten bis 1870) standing before a stylised townscape flanked by a fire tower (Feuerturm) at left and a half-timbered house (Haustyp) at right, all rendered in a flat Art Nouveau silhouette and colour-wash style. Black silhouette figures of a lantern-bearer at far left and a town crier at far right frame the composition, with denomination numerals '50' set within green guilloche roundels at each corner. Below the vignette, the issuing authority text and date 'Rehburg den 1. Mai 1921' appear in ornate script, accompanied by a panoramic black skyline underprint and two manuscript signatures above the titles Bürgermeister and Rendant. |
