Bürgermeisteramt:
Reverse description The reverse is printed in dark brown and ochre tones and centres on a detailed engraved vignette of a historic boundary stone dated 1515, bearing an armorial shield attributed to Georg, Bishop of Bamberg, set against a forest backdrop. A circular Thüringerwald-Verein emblem occupies the upper left corner, while a circular Rödel-Schmücke inn seal appears at the lower left. A four-line verse in Gothic script fills the upper panel, and the lower margin carries a two-line inscription in archaic German script identifying the stone's origin, all enclosed within a diamond-pattern outer border.
Reverse lettering Ein deutscher Bergpfad ist's! die Städte flieht er
Und keucht zum Kamm des Waldgebirgs hinauf.
