Obverse description Dark-toned notgeld note with a geometric border pattern enclosing the entire design. At upper centre, the heading SOLBAD appears within a cartouche. A four-line German verse in Gothic script occupies the upper register, flanking a central vignette of a standing female figure draped in a flowing robe. To the left, a large oval panel bears the denomination 50 Pf in bold Gothic numerals against a dark underprint with a dotted oval frame; below it, the serial number is printed in red. To the right, validity text reads Dieser Gutschein verliert seine Gültigkeit 3 Monate nach öffentlichem Aufruf, followed by the place and date Bad Suderode Harz, den 13. Mai 1921, the authority line Der Gemeindevorsteher, and a manuscript facsimile signature.
