| Reverse description | The reverse carries a large central vignette rendered in silhouette style against a blue-grey ground, showing four armed soldiers in 17th-century garb marching in procession — an allusion to the Swedish devastation of Colditz in 1637 during the Thirty Years' War — flanked on either side by ink-drawn burning buildings and a ruined tower. Below the vignette, a yellow text panel bears an explanatory historical inscription, with denomination numerals '50' in diamond-bordered cartouches at lower left and right.
