Reverse description Grey-toned note with a central oval vignette framed by a decorative border, enclosing a landscape view of the Bonifatiusfelsen rocky outcrop in the Altenstein nature park, rendered in fine multicolour letterpress. At upper left the denomination '50 Pfg.' appears in red and black Gothic numerals alongside red guilloche ornaments, repeated at lower right; a gilded chalice with grapevine motif and a radiant cross with alpha and omega symbols occupy the left margin as religious emblems. A scrolled ribbon banner at top bears the motto in Gothic script, and a descriptive text panel in Fraktur fills the lower centre.
