| Obverse description | The left panel of this Notgeld voucher carries a colour vignette of Quedlinburg Castle viewed from the south side, rendered in a woodcut-style illustration with green foliage and red-tiled rooflines, captioned above in Fraktur script "Schloß von der Südseite". The right panel bears the bold Fraktur heading "Gutschein der Stadt Quedlinburg" above a dark rectangular denomination cartouche displaying "50 Pfennig" in large numerals, flanked by the validity inscription "Gültig bis zum 31. Dez. 1924". At the foot, the issuing authority text and date "Quedlinburg, d. 1. Juni 1921" appear alongside a facsimile signature of Der Magistrat, all within a double-rule border with a stippled tan underprint. |
