| Obverse description | Multicolour Notgeld vignette in letterpress, centred on a Romanesque arcade of three arches through which a panoramic Thuringian valley landscape is visible, with a seated female figure in red dress in the foreground. Armoured medieval knights in full plate armour stand as lateral guardians on green grounds at left and right, each bearing a heraldic shield with vertical inscriptions.
