At centre, a large teal cartouche carries the town name 'ZIEGENRÜCK' in bold white script, surmounted by the municipal coat of arms — a gold shield bearing a black goat passant beneath a crown, with a castle motif above. The inscription 'NOTGELD DER STADT' arcs across the upper field in teal lettering, flanked by gold '50 Pf' denominations in each upper corner; a green banner below reads 'OBERES SAALTAL.'
