Amt Kömpfe, Jena
Reverse description The reverse carries a large central silhouette vignette numbered '4.' in the upper left corner, illustrating a humorous scene from a local folk story set on the Neubrandenburger Marktplatz: a nobleman doffing his hat to a stout marketwoman accompanied by a small dog, with a group of onlookers in period costume visible at left, all rendered in bold black silhouette against a plain ground within a rectangular ruled frame. Olive-green decorative side panels with red zigzag borders flank the composition, each bearing a diamond cartouche with the denomination '50'. A caption in Low German dialect appears above and below the vignette.
Reverse lettering Dörchlüchten und Bäcker Schultsch up den Nigenbrandbörger Marktplatz.
