| Obverse description | The upper portion carries a decorative banner in Gothic script identifying the issuing authority, above an elaborate central vignette of scrolling acanthus foliage flanking an oval cartouche with the denomination numeral '50' and abbreviation 'Pfg.' in bold blackletter. A tonal underprint vignette at centre shows a panoramic view of Schloss Roßla. Two circular seals appear at lower left and right: the left bears a prancing horse with rays above and the legend 'GEMEINDE ROSSLA', the right a standing stag with the legend 'GRAFSCHAFT STOLBERG ROSSLA'. The lower margin carries the serial number, validity clause in Gothic script dated 1. Juli 1921, two manuscript signatures, and the printer's imprint noting the silhouette artwork by Georg Schleinitz. |
