| Obverse description | Issued on tan and green paper, this Notgeld voucher carries a bold Fraktur heading 'Fünfzig – Pfennig' across the upper register and 'Gutschein – der Stadt – Bad Sachsa am Südharz' along the lower border. The central vignette presents the municipal coat of arms of Bad Sachsa — a quartered shield displaying a stag and a checkered field, surmounted by a crested helm with antlers and flowing mantling in green and gold.
