Reverse description The reverse is entirely hand-drawn in fine pen-and-ink line work and presents a pastoral Rhine landscape identified in the lower left caption as 'Honschaft Beuel u. Selhof'. Two tall poplar trees dominate the right foreground, with rolling hills, scattered farmhouses, orchards, and the Siebengebirge in the background rendered in detailed cross-hatching. The artist's signature 'H. Rex Harschut 22' appears at lower right. The place name 'BAD HONNEF AM RHEIN' is set in large hand-lettered capitals above the framed vignette.
