| Obverse description | Brown letterpress Notgeld note with a central oval vignette of the Oberammergau village panorama set against an Alpine backdrop, enclosed within decorative foliate scrollwork. The denomination "50" appears in large numerals at both left and right flanks, with "PFENNIG" inscribed above each; two manuscript signatures of municipal officials appear beneath the central vignette on either side. A red overprinted serial number is visible at upper centre, alongside a small eye-and-rays device, and the date "1. 7. 21" is repeated in the border legends. |
