| Obverse description | Salmon-toned notgeld with a diamond-pattern border in blue. The upper portion carries a multi-line Gothic-script text block stating the redemption conditions, centred below which is a circular vignette with a denticulated border enclosing the large red numeral '50' above the word 'für', flanked on either side by the denomination legend 'Gut' and 'Pfg.' A ghosted architectural underprint of church spires is visible in the background. The lower section bears the place and date of issue 'Detmold, Aug. 1920' and the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat', followed by a hand-signed panel with serial number and multiple manuscript signatures. |
