Obverse description Multicolour Notgeld note printed in red, orange, and dark brown on cream paper, with an ornate letterpress border of baroque scrollwork and foliate arabesques flanking a central octagonal vignette. The vignette contains a reproduction of the oldest municipal seal of Freienwalde in Pommern, rendered in red and showing a heraldic figure with floral motifs and the Latin legend around the circumference, framed by the inscription ALTESTES STADT-SIEGEL VON FREIENWALDE IN POMM. The denomination cartouche at lower left reads 50 PFENNIG in bold red numerals, with the issuing authority signature of the Magistrat at lower right and a serial number at lower left.
