At centre, the municipal coat of arms of Neidenburg shows a standing male figure flanked by foliage; the denomination '50 PFENNIG' appears in ornate cartouches to the left and right. The lower half carries a five-line German text commemorating the plebiscite of 11 July 1920, with the issue date '22.
