Obverse description A panoramic vignette of the Nördlingen townscape dominates the upper portion, rendered in dark blue and ochre letterpress, with the tall tower of St. Georg's Church rising at centre against a semicircular arch motif. The denomination numeral '50' appears in each upper corner within the decorative dashed border, while the lower register is divided into three panels: the flanking panels carry the voucher inscription in ochre, and the central panel bears the issuer's name and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister beneath the legend 'RAT DER STADT'.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in salmon-pink and dark brown, centred on a framed text panel set between two ornate Classical column structures rendered in a woodcut-like style. The text panel carries a poetic German verse extolling the city, followed by the issue date and validity clause at foot. A serial number in large bold numerals appears along the bottom margin within the outer decorative border.
