Guhrau — now Góra, in Lower Silesia — was one of hundreds of German districts that resorted to locally issued Notgeld after the post-WWI collapse of small-denomination coinage. Carl Flemming & T. C. Wiskott, based in Glogau roughly 40 kilometers away, handled a significant volume of this regional emergency scrip across Lower Silesia, which explains the consistent printing quality relative to some rougher municipal issues of the same period.
The Graboowski and Vanhofer reference numbers indicate this is the third color or paper variant within the type — worth distinguishing from the earlier issues in the series.
