| Reverse description | Dark blue-grey letterpress vignette on cream paper, centred on an oval scenic view of the ruins of Burg Landshut above the Moselle valley, rendered in fine line engraving with dramatic cloud formations above the tower. The denomination '50' repeats in circular cartouches at upper left and upper right, each surrounded by vine-leaf ornaments and grape clusters; two scroll banners below the central oval carry the inscriptions 'Mich deckt ein köstlich' Unterpfand' and 'Das Traubengold im Moselland', with 'Burg Landshut-Mosel' lettered directly beneath the vignette. The printer's imprint 'SCHAAR & DATHE, TRIER' appears in small capitals at the very foot of the note. |
