| Obverse description | The obverse is set within a decorative border of interlocking geometric and rope-style frames, with the denomination numeral 50 repeated in each corner. The central text panel carries the issuer name in Gothic blackletter at the top, followed by the word Gutschein and the large display inscription Fünfzig Pfennig in ornate Fraktur script against a fine crosshatch underprint. A circular town stamp appears at lower left, and a manuscript signature is applied below the issuance line reading Tanna, am 1. Jan. 1920. / Der Stadtrat. |
