| Obverse description | Green and dark brown Notgeld gutschein with an oval central vignette on a green ground, bearing the denomination inscription 'FÜNFZIG PFENNIG' in large bold letterpress type within the dark oval panel, surmounted by the legend 'Gutschein über'. Flanking the central oval are two full-length figures in worker's attire — a female figure to the left carrying a tool over her shoulder, and a male figure to the right with a scythe — rendered in a linear woodcut-style vignette. Below the denomination, the issuing authority 'Der Bezirks-Verband FLÖHA' and the title 'Der Amtshauptmann' appear, followed by a manuscript signature. |

Flöha was a rural administrative district (Amtshauptmannschaft) in Saxony, and like hundreds of similar German localities in 1920, it issued its own Kleingeldersatz — substitute small change — to compensate for the chronic shortage of low-denomination coins that had plagued Germany since the war years. These district-level issues had no formal Reichsbank backing; their validity was strictly local and usually time-limited, redeemable only within the issuing jurisdiction.
The Flöha series is not among the more documented Saxon notgeld runs, which makes precise print-run figures difficult to establish.
