Obverse description The left half of the note carries a vignette of a male sower striding across a ploughed field, dressed in loose shirt and dark trousers, scattering seed by hand, with a town panorama including a church steeple and factory chimney visible in the background; the composition is framed by decorative corner ornaments with oak-leaf motifs on a sage-green ground. The right half, printed in salmon-pink, bears the denomination and issuer text in ornate Fraktur script, with the validity clause and issue date 'Kaltennordheim, den 1. Sept. 1919' at foot, accompanied by the manuscript signature of the Gemeindevorstand.
